AcroPack AP580 Series provides 1Gb Ethernet Communication plus a unique option for power over Ethernet on a PCIe format to provide power to powered devices. The Power Over Ethernet (POE) model, AP580E-POE-LF provides 52V DC and up to 10 watts of power to powered devices (PD). The POE Ethernet Communication avoids other traffic on a network, making it ideal for a video camera, VOIP phone or any other PD Devices.

Acromag’s AcroPack modules improve on the mini PCIe form factor by adding a down-facing connector that securely routes I/O signals through the host carrier card without any extra cabling. Carrier Cards are available in PCIe, VPX, XMC and other formats.
The AcroPack I/O modules are very small and at 30 x 70mm per module, up to four AcroPacks can plug into a serial card offering any I/O combination. More than 25 AcroPack modules are now offered for a wide analogue I/O, Digital I/O, Communication and FPGA Computing functions – other functions are coming soon!
