Ring-style Accelerometer 3221C

Series 3221C is a ring style piezoelectric charge mode high temperature accelerometer designed to reliably operate in temperatures up to +260°C.

Applications include

  • Aerospace & flight testing
  • High temperature vibration measurements on small structures and objects

The Dytran 3221C Series is a ring-style high temperature accelerometer.

Firstly, it has a sensitivity of 6 or 10 pC/g and measures temperature up to +260°C. It is made with rugged titanium construction. It has unique miniature thru hole mounting configuration. This allows the sensor to be turned a full 360° prior to securing.

Secondly, it uses a single crystal piezoelectric sensing element to allow operation in shear mode. Also it weighs just 9 grams, features radial 10-32 side connector and is hermetically sealed for demanding environments. Plus base isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
