Rugged IEPE Accelerometer 3184E

Model 3184E is a rugged IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer with built in faraday shield for electrostatic noise immunity, a sensitivity of 100 mV/g, with an excellent low frequency response.

Applications in which it is used include:

  • General Purpose Vibration Monitoring

The Dytran 3184E is a Rugged IEPE accelerometer.

Firstly, it incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element housed in a rugged stainless steel housing. It has a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 axial connector.

Secondly, it is hermetically sealed and case isolated. Allowing it to operate in harsh environments and avoid EMI/ground loop interference. It is also directly compatible with the Series 6194 Immersion Proof Sealing Boot. Therefore, when used together the sensor remains fully functional in an IP65 environment.
