The VWB 2000 is a Wireless IO System. The system consists of two pre-paired transmitter/receiver units. You connect the Analog, Discrete or Modbus® Inputs to one unit and it wirelessly broadcasts the signal data to the other unit. This enables the receiving unit to recreate the original signal for output to local instrumentation. Ideal for factory or in-field istallations and all you need is 12-28V DC Power.

The Acromag VWB2000 is a Wireless IO System consisting of two pre-paired transmitter/receiver units. Firstly, it enables the user to reproduce an analog, discrete or Modbus® signal wirelessly at a remote location. It is enclosed in an IP68 NEMA Rugged, weather resistant case for industrial applications.

The VWB2000 is a cost effective solution for interfacing I/O Signals. In addition, it eliminates the expense and hassle of hard wiring instrumentation through your factory or across a field. Plus, with a range of 152 Metres indoors and 1.61 Km line of sight outdoors, this reliable wireless I/O system will get the job done. Plus, read the manual. Secondly, each wireless unit has one analog I/O channel, four discrete digital I/O channels plus RS-485 Modbus Communication. Therefore, if the primary unit’s channel is an input, then the secondary unit’s corresponding channel is an output. Analog Voltage Input converted to a proportional current output.

Thirdly, the VWB2000 signal bridge is easy to set up. A few pushes of the front panel buttons and you’re done! Acromag’s free VWB Config Software allows more advanced capabilities when connecting a PC to the unit’s USB port.
