Wireless Range Extender

EpiSensor’s Model RTO-21 is a Wireless Range Extender. This means that it can increase the range of the wireless sensor network by up to 300 metres line of sign or up to 1000m² in a typical commercial/industrial environment. The data is automatically routed from wireless nodes in a mesh network through the range extender and back to the gateway.

The Wireless range extender includes an internal mains power supply. Firstly, it is designed to work over a range of voltages and on board ZigBee wireless communications. Secondly, the RTO-21 enclosure is fully waterproof. Making it ideal for use in harsh industrial or outdoor environments. Therefore, note the RTO-21 must be installed by a qualified electrician.
