Rugged Optical Networking – 4 Channel 10GbE – PCIe Gen3 x8
Applications | Benefits
‣ Server integration and NAS | ‣ High performance
‣ Flight test instrumentation | ‣ Low power usage
‣ Sensor simulation and recording | ‣ Air or conduction cooled
‣ Video over Ethernet capture | ‣ Precision time sync (IEEE 1588)
‣ Seismic and geological data | ‣ Flexible I/O with rugged design
The Titan Quad 10GbE XMC is a rugged, high speed Ethernet interface card made for demanding embedded and airborne applications. Powered by the latest Intel® XL710-BM1 Fortville controller, the board supports four independent 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports with advanced features including UDP, TCP, and IP checksum offload, IEEE 1588 PTP, and support for virtualisation with up to 8 VMs per port.
Designed for flexibility in rugged environments, the card is available with front panel LC optical connectors or recessed LC connectors for internal optical cabling in conduction cooled systems. All ports support 10GBASE-SR over 850nm multi mode fibre. A rear I/O interface via P16 supports an additional 10GBASE-KX4 or XAUI copper port for backplane applications.
The PCIe Gen3 x8 host interface ensures optimal bandwidth with support for 8.0GT/s, allowing seamless data throughput in high speed sensor, flight test, or simulation environments. Both air cooled and conduction cooled versions are available, great deployment in CPCI, VME, or VPX platforms.
For development and desktop testing, an optional PCIe edge adapter allows integration into standard PCs. Linux and Windows drivers are included for easy software integration.
Galleon Embedded Computing is certified to AS/EN 9100 and ISO 9001, ensuring rugged performance and consistent quality in mission critical environments.
