1000W Rugged UPS ANB1501

The ANB1501 Rugged Blade UPS delivers continuous power of 1250VA/1000W. Designed to support parallel operations when more power is required. Up to 8 units can be connected in parallel.

Therefore, delivering a total continuous power of 10,000VA/8000W. When one unit fails, the load is automatically properly distributed to the other working units.

The Acumentrics ANB1501 is a 1000W Rugged UPS.

Firstly, it is ideal for Defence applications as it is housed in a narrow, compact 1U chassis.  Providing significant savings of rack space for other critical equipment. It is one of the most powerful UPS products on the market and is rated to provide 1250VA/1000W of continuous power from -20 to 60°C with lithium-ion battery pack option. The rugged UPS accepts AC input power from 80 VAC to 265 VAC / 47 Hz to 440 Hz, as well as DC input from 20 VDC to 32 VDC (At 20 VDC some de-rating may occur).

Secondly, the ANB1501 accepts a wide range of voltages and frequencies. It also provides clean, reliable AC power and seamlessly switches from AC shore power to DC power to the internal battery. The rugged UPS creates DC voltage which is converted to the required AC output voltage. Meanwhile protecting sensitive equipment from input surges, spikes, brownouts, blackouts and noise. It also transfers seamlessly without interrupting the load quality and has zero switch over time.

1000W Rugged UPS uses Fault Tolerant Power System N+1

The ANB1501 supports resilient, fault tolerant power systems using a N+1 configuration for Mission Critical Applications. The Advanced N+1 paralleling makes the Rugged Blade UPS the building block for a modular system up to 10kVA. It also contains dual input with automatic power selection. Meaning that the UPS with AC or DC input prioritises AC shore, then DC input and then internal battery sources.

The rugged UPS uses lithium-ion or low maintenance, valve regulated lead acid, enclosed in a user replaceable battery pack for rapid hot swap field replacements. The Lithium-Ion battery enables the UPS (1KW) to run for 10 minutes and recharge in 3 Hours. Whereas the Lead acid allows the UPS to run for 4 minutes and recharges in 4 Hours.

The UPS 1501 is designed to meet a range of environmental and MIL-STDs and has numerous options; see specification sheet for further information.
