Tactical Grade OEM AHRS Sensor 3DM-CV7-AHRS

The MicroStrain 3DM-CV7-AHRS is a Tactical Grade OEM Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) with 1 KHz Output data rate for all channels. It features a tactical grade gyro with 1.5°/hr bias instability.  In addition, Roll/Pitch Accuracy of 0.25º and dynamic accuracy of 0.5°.  As well as Integrated magnetometer.

The HBK Microstrain 3DM-CV7-AHRS is a Tactical Grade OEM AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference System) Sensor.

Firstly, it contains user selectable accelerometer and gyroscope range.  Whilst, being fully calibrated over the entire temperature range.

Secondly, it’s designed for demanding and harsh applications.  Featuring dual onboard Extended Kalman Filter for attitude estimation.  Along with factory installed ROS1 and ROS2 drivers.   With a compact and lightweight profile incorporating an anodised aluminium mounting base, it is thinner and more lightweight than other Microstrain models. The operating temperature range is from -40 to +85°C.

SensorConnect Software is ideal for configuration, control, display, and logging.

  • Smallest and lightest Tactical Grade OEM AHRS with Adaptive Kalman Filter available
  • SensorConnect enables simple device configuration, live data monitoring, and recording
  • The MSCL API allows easy integration with C++, Python, .NET, C#, Visual Basic, LabVIEW and MATLAB environments. Robust, forward compatible MIP packet protocol
  • USB and UART (TTL) Interface
  • Tactical grade gyro (1.5°/hr bias instability)
  • Fully calibrated over entire temperature range
  • Roll/pitch static accuracy 0.25°
  • Dynamic accuracy 0.5°
  • Integrated Magnetometer for absolute heading tracking

SOFTWARE

SensorConnect software is a user-friendly program for device configuration. MIP Monitor (MicroStrain Internet Protocol) can also be used. Both packages provide for device configuration, live data monitoring, and recording. Alternatively, the MIP Data Communications Protocol is available for development of custom interfaces and easy OEM integration. The sensor operates independent of computer platform, operating system, or coding language.
