IMU Inertial Measurement Unit 3DM-GX5-IMU

The MicroStrain 3DM-GX5-IMU is a High-Performance Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) with adjustable sample rates up to 1000 Hz. It features configurable IMU outputs along with a reliable accelerometer and stable gyro. Lightweight and compact and weighs only 16.5 grams.

Therefore, suitable for where accurate and reliable inertial measurement is critical.  Such as Unmanned Vehicle Navigation, Robotics, Platform Stabilisation, Artificial Horizon and HUMS monitoring of a vehicle.

The HBK Microstrain 3DM-GX5-IMU is an IMU Inertial Measurement Unit Sensor.

Firstly, it performs a wide range of triaxial inertial measurements, computed attitude, and navigation solutions.  Whilst, being fully calibrated over the entire temperature range and using MEMS technology.

Secondly, designed for demanding applications.  In addition, it is mathematically aligned to an orthogonal coordinate system for highly accurate outputs.  The High-performance low drift gyros feature low noise density and vibration rectification error.

SensorConnect Software is ideal for configuration, control, display, and logging.

SOFTWARE

Both packages provide for device configuration, live data monitoring, and recording. Alternatively, the MIP Data Communications Protocol is available for development of custom interfaces and easy OEM integration. The sensor operates independent of computer platform, operating system, or coding language.
