Miniature IEPE Force Sensor 1022V

The 1022V is one of Dytran’s smallest and most lightweight force sensors. It measure 12.4mm tall and weighing 4.5 grams.

Offering precision force measurement capabilities of up to 22.67 kilogram force (50 lbf), 100mV/lbf sensitivity and an unloaded 50 kHz natural frequency.

The Dytran Model 1022V is a miniature IEPE Force Sensor.

Firstly, it features built in electronics. This eliminates the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.

Secondly, the design of model features a quartz sensing element. It operates in compression mode and is packaged in a lightweight titanium housing. Using a 1.52 M coaxial cable terminating to a 10-32 coaxial connector. As well as a series of 10-32 tapped holes, located at the top and bottom of the sensor housing. These assist the mounting of the sensor in threaded holes on the driving rods and test specimen.

Modal and Structural Analysis Process Control General Purpose Dynamic Force measurements where mass loading is a concern or where vertical space requirements may be limited.
