Wireless Air Velocity Sensors

The Wireless Air Velocity sensors measures pressure difference between to input ports. As well as ambient temperature and altitude to determine air flow speed in a system. Used in a sensitive area such hospitals and clean rooms.

Monnit Wireless Air Velocity Sensors help HVAC contractors or maintenance to prevent failure or predict and shorten downtime. Collected data enables maintenance comfort and proper ventilation as well as track air volume filter status.

Firstly, if the air velocity or speed exceeds from user set thresholds, then designated personnel are alerted via text, email or by phone call.

Secondly, these sensors are a 15 minute installation. Available in two models – battery powered and industrial with weather resistant casing. This air velocity / speed sensor measures the pressure difference between its two ports. It accounts for ambient temperature and altitude and determines system airflow speed in metres per second. Sensor is calibrated, temperature compensated and has -50 m/s to +50 m/s measurement range.
