It collects and stores mission critical data from that Aircraft. When the data is required the 2.26kg unit is removed from the Aircraft and attached an external docking station. Fully sealed, made from Aircraft Grade Aluminium with external fins for cooling. It includes a Com Express Type 6 carrier card, MIL STD compliant power supply.
