The WOLF XMC-TK1-FGX (WOLF-30TP) is a XMC Image Capture & Processing Module.
Firstly, the WOLF FGX Board converts video data from one standard to another. With Video input and output options for both digital I/O and legacy analog I/O. In initially, captures video data which is routed to the Tegra K1 for processing. The processed data is output as HD-SDI, HDMI or an encoded H.264 stream.
Secondly, it uses a Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA to capture video without using the host system. Therefore, the XMC-TK1-FGX provides GPU assisted parallel processing and complex analysis. Performing precision intense operations. Such as Image processing, video stabilisation, filtering, terrain analysis, 3D visualisation of geospatial data, object recognition and tracking.
It avoids single board computer data broadcast traffic jams which is a 2-board solution. By including the FGX and Tegra K1 on one board. As this solution captures and processes images without transferring data between boards.
