4K or HD Video Capture/Transmit Module XMC-FGX2-8IO

WOLF’s Model XMC-FGX2-8IO is a high data rate video capture and transmit board incorporating WOLF’s FGX2 frame grabbing technology. The FGX2 is built on Xilinx® Kintex® Ultrascale+™ series of FPGA devices.

Making it ideal for machine vision, synthetic vision, or video processing applications in harsh environments like Defence and Aerospace where low latency is essential and SwaP is at a premium.

The WOLF Model XMC-FGX2-8IO (WOLF-3183) is a 4K or HD Video Capture/Transmit Module featuring the WOLF FGX2 frame grabbing technology.  Firstly, the FGX2 is a 4K capable digital and analog frame grabber.  It features conversion and transmit capabilities based on Xilinx FPGA devices.

Secondly, this module fits with SOSA and ANSI/VITA 46.9 standards for 3U and 6U VXP configurations.  It offers an upgrade path from WOLF-3080 due to its compatible hardware ICD and thermal envelope.  In addition, it can be paired with a WOLF NVIDIA based GPGPU module to provide low latency peer to peer communications.  Therefore, reducing the CPU overhead when processing or encoding large amounts of data.

Finally, the MCOTS options include the ability to change the interfaces to other analog or digital video standards. RTOS driver options available on request.
