MIL-STD-1553 Communication for AcroPack I/O

The Acromag AP570 Series is a MIL-STD-1553 Communication Module on a ruggedised Mini PCIe Form Factor.  Ideally for avionics databus applications due to its high performance design in a tiny footprint.

The AP570 Series is based on the PCI Express mini card standard and includes two new MIL-STD-1553 communication modules. The AP571 provides single function MIL-STD-1553 communication and the AP572 provides full multi-function databus communication.

Metromatics provides excellent local sales, service and support for this and many other Acromag products.

AP570: MIL-STD-1553 Communication

  • One dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 Communication Channel
  • Extended temperature
  • PCIe bus interface

Acromag modules provide a dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 channel with four open/ground avionics level (+35V) discrete I/O signals in addition to IRIG-B input and Trigger I/O. Hard wired RT address signal input pins are also available at the connector.

This Acropack card utilises the latest AIM Common Hardware Core derived from the field proven MIL-STD-1553 interface to deliver low power consumption and high performance for rugged environments and embedded applications.

AP571-000: Single function MIL-STD-1553.
AP572-000: Full multi-function MIL-STD-1553.
