Biaxial Airborne Accelerometer 3232

Series 3232 is a biaxial IEPE piezo electric accelerometer, designed for use in Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) as well as Active Vibration Control (AVC) applications found on commercial and military aircraft.

Applications for this product include:

  • Active Vibration Control (AVC)
  • Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS)
  • General Purpose Vibration Monitoring

The Dytran 3232 Series is a Biaxial Airborne Accelerometer.

Firstly, it has sensitivity ranging from 10-100 mV/g. Plus it incorporates a radial 3-pin “Mighty Mouse™” connector with 5/16-28 thread.

Secondly, this series has an integral mounting bracket design. This provides improved sensor performance. As well as eliminating costs associated with separate mounting brackets. Units offer a reduced mass compared to conventional sensors and mounting brackets.

Thirdly, it is hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments. Also, case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
