Lumistar’s RF telemetry Tracking Receivers and Down Converters are single PCI slot multi band FM receivers.  They receive signals from remote sources, such as satellites or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).  The RF Telemetry tracking Receivers & Down Converters come in a “drive Bay” configuration and can also be used without the FM demodulator.  This option makes them perfect for use as antenna tracking receivers.  They can also become down converters when paired with an IF receiver.  As a result, this product is perfect for multi-mode digital combining and demodulation.  Dual channel versions are also available.

LS-25-D

The Lumistar PCI single channel multi band down converter (ISA and VME legacy versions available, consult factory). It comes with one, two, or three frequency bands. It also supports PCM data rates up to 20 Mbps. Additionally, it also includes a linear 70 MHz IF output, an AGC controlled 70 MHz IF output and filtered AM / linear AGC outputs. As a result, its design offers either 4 or 12 IF bandwidths.

LS-27-D

This is a two channel quad band PCI down converter. It uses the the same advanced technology as in the industry leading LS-25 PCI Receiver. This unit turns one or two independent channels of up to four RF frequency bands down to a 70 MHz IF output. it is often used in conjunction with the Lumistar LS-35 Series Digital IF Receiver/Combiner. This combination provides one or two independent telemetry receivers, or a dual diversity combining receiver, with up to two multi mode demodulators and bit synchronizers in a two slot PCI interface.

LS-27-B

This is a Modular Dual Channel Tri-Band Tracking and Data Receiver. This unit supports one or two independent channels of PCM with data rates up to 20 Mbps. It also includes both an optional FM demodulated output for PCM data and standard programmable AM/linear AGC outputs for auto tracking receivers. Its design also offers 8 IF Bandwidths and 8 Video Filters per channel for each receiver.

The Lumistar LS-25-D2 is the next generation tri-band, single-slot, full-length PCI down converter. The down converter is manufactured with one, two, or three frequency bands. This wideband designs supports PCM data rates up to 20 Mbps and includes a linear 70 MHz IF output, an AGC controlled 70 MHz IF output and filtered AM / linear AGC outputs. The design offers either 4 or 12 IF Bandwidths. Other down-converters are available.

The Lumistar LS-25-I2 Receiver is the next generation tri-band, single-slot, full-length ISA FM Receiver. The receiver is manufactured with one, two, or three frequency bands. This wideband designs supports PCM data rates up to 20 Mbps and includes both an FM demodulated output for PCM data, filtered AM and linear AGC outputs. The design offers up to 12 IF Bandwidths and 12 Video Filters. AC coupling with a low frequency filter is employed to ensure a high quality data link with long strings of NRZ-L ones or zeroes. The Lumistar LS-25-V Receiver is a single-band, single-slot VME FM Receiver. Versions are available for PBand, Lower L-Band, Upper L-Band, S-Band, and NATO E-Band depending on the model chosen. These wideband designs support PCM data rates up to 20 Mbps and include both an FM demodulated output for PCM data, and AM and AGC/RSSI outputs. DC coupling is employed to ensure a high quality data link with long strings of NRZ-L ones or zeroes.

Lumistar LS-27-M Image

The modular track receiver is used with a typical auto-tracking antenna system. The input signal will typically be an RF signal from a CW beacon or a modulated carrier with Doppler, provided by the auto tracking system itself. The track receiver provides programmable AM & AGC signals to the antenna control system to facilitate the auto-tracking function.

The Lumistar LS-26 Series Airborne FM Receiver/Bit Synchronizer is based on the popular LS-25-P2 PCI Receiver and LS-40-DB20 Bit Synchronizer Daughterboard designs with packaging to survive the most severe airborne environments. The LS-26 provides ground station performance in an airborne package. The LS-26 is available in several configurations: 1) Airborne receiver (without bit synchronizer), 2) Airborne receiver with bit synchronizer, or 3) Airborne bit synchronizer.
