LS-28-DRSM Series
Lumistar’s Multi-band Dual-channel Telemetry Receiver & Combiner, Modular unit comes with integral tracking receivers and bit syncs. It functions as an independent data & tracking receiver, recorder and data processor all-in-one. It also employs the most current sophisticated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies and supports independent two-channel reception and/or combining of up to six RF bands.

Furthermore, the optional external 1U Keyboard/Display, converts this unit into the perfect COTS solution for a modern Telemetry Ground Station Receiving System.
LS-28-QRS Series
The LS-28-QRS Series is a Multi-band Quad-channel Telemetry Receiver & Combiner. This 4U Rack Mount System comes with integral tracking receivers and bit syncs. This unit employs sophisticated fourth generation Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies. It also supports independent four channel reception and/or combining of up to four RF bands. This unit also comes with an optional external 1U Keyboard and display offering a a low cost, high-performance COTS solution for a modern Telemetry Ground Station Receiving System.
LS-84-EC-DRS Series
This Portable Multi-band Dual Channel Receiver/Combiner is a portable system complete with integral tracking receivers and bit syncs. This unit is a a low cost, high performance COTS solution for a modern Telemetry Ground Station Receiving System.

LS-28-SRSM
The Lumistar LS-28-SRSM Modular Single-Channel Receiver offers a small profile low-cost highperformance multi-band multi-mode COTS solution for a modern Telemetry Receiving System applications. The unit functions as an independent single-channel data & tracking receiver in one package. The LS-28-SRSM is an advanced-technology Single-Channel Receiver employing sophisticated Lumistar “fifth generation” Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies. The LS-28-SRSM supports RF telemetry reception of up to six RF bands including E, S, Lower-L, Upper-L, P, C, (as well as customer defined bands from 200 MHz to 7 GHz). The RF input signal is converted to a fixed 70 MHz intermediate frequency (IF). The IF signal is then digitized by a high performance sowtware defined digital IF receiver. The unit has provisions for direct PCM bit-synchonization from external baseband sources as well from the RF channel data

LS-28-DRSM White Paper
The LS-28-DRSM is a very compact, modular, multi-band, multi-mode, multifunction telemetry processing network appliance like none other. Based on eighteen years of telemetry processing experience, the design incorporates Lumistar’s experience in RF receiver design and couples it with our data processing technologies into an ultra-compact device that weighs less than two pounds.
The LS-28-DRSM design basis is our familiar existing PC product lines. Our existing product families can be separated into three basic categories each containing a group of hardware and associated processing software. These categories include: Data Processing controlled via the Lumistar Data Processing System (LDPS) software, RF Range Receiving functions controlled via the Lumistar Range Receiver System (LRRS) software, and PCM Simulation hardware controlled via the LS7xDynaSim software application. The LS28-DRSM design targets all of the capabilities of the LRRS hardware and software application as well as the hardware functions of the LDPS application. The figure below illustrates the products that are integrated in the LS-28-DRSM product design.
