LS-40-DB

The Lumistar LS-40-DB Bit Sync Subsystem provides optimal reconstruction of a serial PCM data stream that has been tainted by noise, phase jitter, amplitude modulation or base line variations. Additionally, the all digital design also assures a high performance, consistency & excellent reliability and long-term use. To top things off, the LS-40-DB also allows performance verification for the Bit Synchronizer. This ensures the highest level of operation.

LS-40-P

The Lumistar LS-40-P PCI Bit Synchronizer provides optimal reconstruction of a serial PCM data stream that has been corrupted by noise, phase jitter, amplitude modulation, or base line variations.

Key features of the LS-40-P Bit Sync Subsystems include:

  • Up to 25 Mbps for NRZ-L (12.5 Mbps for Bi-Phase/Miller) PCM data codes
  • Performance within 1 dB of theoretical to 10 Mbps (1.5 dB to 20 Mbps)

Lumistar LS-44-QBS Bit Sync Subsystem image

LS-44-QBS

The LS-44-QBS contains up to 4 Lumistar LS-40-DB25 Bit Synchronizer Daughterboards in a 1U RackMount chassis. It has status lights on the front panel and all interconnections through the rear. The design also has an internal computer that runs off DOS or Windows. Finally, the unit can also be connected to an optional 1U slide out keyboard and display that measures 2U of total rack height.

The Lumistar LS-45-DB Dual Channel Bit Synchronizer Daughterboard provides optimal reconstruction of a serial PCM data stream that has been corrupted by noise, phase jitter, amplitude modulation, or base line variations.

  • PCM Data Rates up to 45 Mbps for NRZ-L (22 Mbps for Bi-Phase/Miller)
  • Performance within 1 dB of theoretical to 20 Mbps (2 dB to 45 Mbps)
  • All Digital Design ensures high reliability and long term performance
  • 2 single ended and 1 differential input per channel along with RX BERT reader.
  • Low power use – less than 8 watts.

The Lumistar LS-40-cP Bit Synchronizer Daughterboard provides optimal reconstruction of a serial PCM data stream that has been corrupted by noise, phase jitter, amplitude modulation, or base line variations. The all-digital design assures a high performance, consistent product, with excellent reliability and long-term stability. A unique Built-in-Test feature allows performance verification for the Bit Synchronizer to ensure the highest level of operation. Auto-test BIT is performed for a short duration on the application of power and tests more than 90% of the Bit Synchronizer components. This test verifies that power is properly applied, verifies that there are no internal bit errors, and performs other tests to ensure that the bit synchronizer is fully operational with status indication of results.
