Rugged Piezoelectric accelerometer 3192A

Model 3192A is a Rugged Piezoelectric accelerometer with built in Faraday shield for electrostatic noise immunity. It has excellent low frequency response of 0.5Hz and the capability to resolve vibrations as low as 0.00007 g’s RMS.

Applications in which it is used include:

  • Bridge monitoring
  • Low frequency vibration measurements
  • Modal Analysis of large structures
  • Seismic Monitoring

The Dytran 3192A Model is Rugged piezoelectric accelerometer.

Firstly, it incorporates an annular shear ceramic sensing element, place in a rugged stainless steel housing. It comes with a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 axial connector and 1/4/-28 mounting hole. Plus, it is hermetically sealed and case isolated. This ensures full function in a harsh environment plus avoid EMI/ground loop interference.

Secondly, it is available with 1 mV/g sensitivity and weighs 190 grams.
