Shock Sensor 3099

Series 3099 is a mechanically & electrically filtered shock sensor which measures high shock impact up to 60kg range and other high altitude, short duration events.

Applications in which it is used include:

The Dytran 3099 Series is shock sensor.

Firstly, the miniature design incorporates quartz sensing elements with a mechanical and electrical filter. This ensures zero shift does not corrupt your SRS plot. Applications include metal to metal impact testing, far field blast testing and nearfield explosive bolt and stage separation.

Secondly, the sensor is hermetically sealed in a lightweight titanium housing. Weighing a total of 8 grams. Units are case isolated to avoid ground loop interference and electrical noise.

Thirdly the on-board miniature IC amplifiers convert high impedance voltage signals from quartz crystals to lower impedance level which allows instruments to drive long cables with negligible signal loss. Models feature 1/4 – 28 integral mounting stud with 10-32 plug for easy connection.
