The Calculex RIPR 1401 is a Rugged Mission Data and Video Recorder. Firstly, it delivers reliable, high-speed data and video capture in the harshest environments. In addition, it is engineered for defence, aerospace and flight-test operations. This compact recorder meets IRIG 106 open-standard compliance. Therefore, ensuring seamless integration with U.S. DoD-approved telemetry and mission-data systems.
Designed for very low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power) applications. The RIPR 1401 provides customisable Input/Output (I/O) capabilities to meet diverse mission requirements. Optional MIL circular connectors enhance durability and simplify field deployment. Whilst networked, serial and discrete command/control enable flexible system management. Its Ethernet video and data streaming support real-time monitoring and analysis. In addition, the CFAST 2.0 removable media stores up to 1 TB at 500 MBps for rapid post-mission data offload. Powered by 28 VDC with passive cooling, the unit ensures quiet, efficient operation without active fans.
This rugged recorder is qualified to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704. Therefore, providing proven performance under extreme temperature, vibration, shock, and electromagnetic conditions.
