High Temperature Vibration Triaxial Accelerometer


The Dytran 3683C is a high temperature vibration triaxial accelerometer. Firstly, it takes high temperature vibration testing to a new level. Secondly, this triaxial charge mode accelerometer operates up to +538°C ––a breakthrough product in the sensor field.

Thirdly, the 3683Cl has 1–2 pC/g sensitivity with a 3,000 Hz upper frequency range (±3dB). It is case isolated and hermetically sealed. Finally, this robust design and unique centre through hole mount allow for 360° orientation.

The 3683C’s main applications are: testing gas and steam turbines for power generation in aircraft; nuclear power plant testing; exhaust and catalytic converter studies; rocket engine testing; automotive engine testing; and any other vibration measurement testing within high temperature environments.

Dytran specialises in the manufacture of High Temperature Accelerometers.  However, this is the first model to reach that temperature milestone and continue to operate in extreme conditions.
