The Dytran 2300 Series is a probe-style pressure sensor.
Firstly, it uses a quartz sensing element. This allows it to operate in compression mode. Available with full scale range from 250 to 15,000 psi.
Secondly, it is packaged in a rugged one piece stainless steel housing with external 5/16-24 mounting thread and weight 7 grams. This sensor is recommended for use in installation where there is no chance of the series 2300V twisting apart during removal. It is easily removed from the mounting port by simply rotating the sensor body in a counter clock wise direction.
