Quad Gigabit Ethernet XMC

The Titan sFPDP XMC from Galleon Embedded Computing is a high-performance, low-power serial front panel data port (sFPDP) interface card, designed for data-intensive applications such as radar processing, signal intelligence, sensor data capture, and missile testing. Powered by the energy-efficient Intel® Arria® 10 FPGA, it supports up to four individually configurable sFPDP channels, with speeds ranging from 1.0625 Gbps to 10.3125 Gbps.

Rugged Optical Gigabit Networking – 4 Channels – PCIe Gen2 x4

Applications | Benefits

‣ Server and SBC Networking | ‣ High performance
‣ Network-Attached Storage (NAS) | ‣ Low power
‣ Flight test environments | ‣ Air- or conduction cooled
‣ Sensor data recording & simulation | ‣ Precision time protocol (PTP)
‣ Video-over-Ethernet capture | ‣ Flexible I/O configurations
‣ Geological & seismic systems | ‣ Ruggedised optical interfaces

The Titan Quad Gigabit Ethernet XMC is a rugged, high performance networking interface card designed for demanding embedded applications that require robust, reliable Ethernet connectivity. Powered by the Intel® i350AM4 qua port Gigabit Ethernet controller, it supports four independent Ethernet channels with offload support for UDP, TCP, and IP checksums, and IEEE 1588 PTP for precision timing synchronisation in time critical systems.

Designed for both air and conduction-cooled environments, the board is available with standard or recessed rugged LC connectors to support 1000BASE-SX (850nm MMF) or, optionally, 1000BASE-LX (1310nm SMF). Rear I/O options are also available for integration into backplane-based SBCs using P14 (1000BASE-T) or P16 (1000BASE-BX/UX) interfaces.

The PCI Express Gen2 x4 host interface delivers up to 5GT/s throughput, enabling seamless integration with modern embedded systems in VPX, VME, or CPCI architectures. For software development and lab environments, an optional PCIe adapter enables use in standard desktop PCs.

With robust Linux and Windows driver support, the Titan Quad Gigabit Ethernet XMC provides an ideal solution for rugged networking in airborne, ground, and research applications.

Galleon Embedded Computing’s quality management system is certified to AS/EN 9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
