Acromag’s Small Form Factor (SFF) Embedded Computer System with Modular I/O is for signal processing, communication and control functions.

The ARCX 1100 is optimised for size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) with a COM Express Type 10 CPU and four slots for Acromag’s Plug-in Acromag® I/O Modules.

Overall size with an integrated removable SSD bay is just 19.30 cm x 19.30 cm x 8.26 cm and just 2.06Kg.  It is fanless and has an extended temperature operation range from -40° to 70°C.

The Acromag ARCX1100 is SFF Embedded Computer System. Firstly, this rugged small form factor computer is ideal for Defence and Industrial Applications. With a real focus on signal processing, communication and control functions. Which is a combination of a carrier card which hosts COM Express Type 10 CPU plus a mix of AcroPack I/O Modules to support those functions.

Secondly, the front ports of SFF Embedded Computer System offer easy access to Gigabit Ethernet, USB, Video and COM Signals. Plus the ARCX1100 aligns itself as the perfect portable communication system. This is because it has the ability to add A/D, D/A, discrete I/O, RS-232, RS-485, CAN bus, Ethernet, FPGA, MIL-STD-1553 and other signal interfaces.

The ability to eliminate internal cables between the I/O Modules is another highlight. This achieved by using the AcroPack I/O Modules which are a rugged alternative to mini PCIe. There are more than 25 different varieties of AcroPack Models to meet your I/O requirements.

Some typical deployable systems applications include: vetronics, C4ISR, payload management and command and control for drones and robotics.
