The Dytran 3713 series is a flight testing triaxial accelerometer.
Firstly, in some models it features Transducer Electronic Data Sheet Capabilities otherwise known as TEDS.
Secondly, this design has quartz shear sensing elements. Packaged in a stainless steel housing. It uses a Glenair 4-pin connector and 10-32 through hole mounting capabilities. This ring style mounting allows the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of installation. Plus, it is hermetically sealed & case isolated. Therefore, making it provide reliable operation in harsh & dirty environments whilst avoiding EMI/ground loop interference.
