Fluctuating power consumption usually indicates a problem. Either the machine needs maintenance or is nearing end of service life. Current sensors are also ideal for submetering.

Secondly, Sensor models range from an enterprise-grade model or weatherproof industrial housing. Install a current meter within 15 minutes. Mount the housing and then wrap the current transformer around the “hot” wire of the two wire power system.
