Industrial IOT Gateway

The AGS-7230-AC-T and AGS-7130-AC-LTE-T are both industrial-grade IOT gateways designed for harsh environments.  Firstly, both models feature multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections.  In addition, both operate within a wide temperature range from -40°C to 70°C (as they feature the “T” suffix in their model names).

However, they have some differences in terms of features and intended applications. Here’s a breakdown of the key differences:

  • CONNECTIVITY:  Both Models offer high speed wireless connectivity through dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and support 802.11ac. However, the AGS-7230-AC-T also includes connection to mobile networks making it suitable for remote or mobile applications where consistent internet access is necessary.
  • APPLICATIONS FOR AGS-7230-AC-T:  Situations where robust Wi-Fi Connectivity is required.  Such as Warehouses, factories or outdoor locations where Wi-Fi coverage is critical.
  • APPLICATIONS FOR AGS-AC-LTE-T:  Situations where both Wi-Fi and Mobile Connectivity are essential.   For example, transport systems, mobile assets and remote monitoring stations where mobile backup is crucial.

Wireless Access Points

Wireless Access Point

The AMY-5133-AC-PD is an Industrial 802.11AC Wireless (Wi-Fi) LAN Bridge or Wireless Access Points.

Firstly, it is designed for industrial and rugged environments.  Especially where reliable, flexible, and easy-to-deploy wireless networking is required. Its PoE capability, industrial-grade design, and dual-band Wi-Fi support make it an ideal solution for extending wireless networks, connecting non-Wi-Fi devices, or creating wireless links in challenging conditions.

The AMY-5133-AC-PD-KIT consists of two Wireless Access Points.  Making it a simple point to point or point to multipoint IEEE 802.11 radio with a gigabit PoE wired interface.   The gigabit Ethernet IEEE 802.3af/at interface provides a simple way to power and deliver data.  In addition, switches on the device make it easy to set up a bridging pair without touching any software.

Alternatively, an external power supply may be used to power the device. * Power Supply sold separately.

  • Applications: Suitable for point-to-point communication, bridging connections between buildings, or targeting specific areas within a facility.

  • Description: A type of directional antenna, panel antennas are flat and typically rectangular, designed to provide focused coverage in a specific direction.
  • Applications: Often used in outdoor installations for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communications, such as between buildings or in surveillance setups.
