The WOLF VPX3U-RTX5000E-SWITCH (WOLF-134S) is a 3U VPX Graphics Switch Module.
Firstly, by adding a RTX5000 GPU to a switch module increases system integrators processing capability without losing an additional slot.
Secondly, data is sent to and from the GPU via PCIe. This provides access to the Turing GPU’s advanced parallel processing and AI inference processing capabilities. Also, the module includes a 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch. Which therefore provides faster data movement from module over the system backplane. There is an optional fibre to PCIe interface also available. This module has a SOS Switch Profile (SLT3-SWH-6F8U-14.4.15).
Memory is a key ingredient in deal with getting in and out of a high-speed GPU otherwise it becomes the system bottle neck. Luckily, this has been taken care of with this card. The GDDR6 memory provides twice the bandwidth of previous generations.
