The FUTEK TRD605 is a Square-Drive Rotary Torque Sensor.
Firstly, it has an aluminium housing with a steel alloy shaft and is IP40 rated. It also has an overload feature to protect the sensor during installation and is considered non-contact.
Secondly, like the majority of FUTEK sensors it uses metal foil strain gauge technology. Plus it comes with an Encoder.
