The Dytran Model 1210C is a series of Piezo Electric Force Sensors.
Firstly, this model offers a sensitivity of 18 pC/lbf and operates in high temperatures of +204°C. It designed for machinery applications where a bolt holds the unit in a preloaded condition with some models up to 100,000 lbf.
Secondly, it is packaged in a rugged stainless steel enclosure and a quartz shear sensing element and operates in compression mode. It also incorporates a 10-32 radial connector and 0.26 to 1.61 inch thru hole mounting. These units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation. Used in environments facing high humidity and dirt.
