Rugged ISR Encoder RS1104ISR

The Crystal Group RS1104ISR is a rugged ISR Encoder.

Firstly, this fully integrated system combines a Makito X1, eight port switch, six 2.5” SSD storage drives and dual Intel Xeon Scalable Processors into Crystal’s RS1104 1U server, which optimises performance and SWaP.

The advantage of this system is that weighs just under 10kgs and does the workload of 3 separate 1U units.  This includes two simultaneous compression functions with two separate encode engines.  Resulting in a high quality video stream for machine learning applications running on the RS1104 Rugged Server.  A lower bitrate video is available for remote users on secure network link.

Therefore, this system offers high performance mission computing, storage, layer 2 switching and encoding capability. The RS1104 rugged server meets MIL Standards and processes intensive workloads an provides an advanced thermal management system.
