Xilinx Kintex 7 FPGA Module XMC-7KWP

The XMC-7KWP Modules feature a high performance user configurable Xilinx Kintex 7 FPGA.  It is enhanced with a high speed memory and a high throughput serial bus interface.  FPGA is Logic optimised.  Whilst the XMC module has write protected flash.

The Acromag XMC-7KWP is a user configurable Xilinx Kintex 7 FPGA Module.  Firstly, it is a powerful and flexible I/O processor module.  That can execute custom instruction sets and algorithms.

Therefore, making it ideal for hardware simulation, communications, in-circuit diagnostics, military servers, signal intelligence and image processing.

Secondly, there are two versions of this module.  Choice of a FPGA device with 325k or 410k logic cells.

The front I/O provides dual SFP+ ports and VHDCR connector.  The SFP+ ports each provide a copper or fibre interface of up to 10.3125 Gbps.  Also supporting a Gigabit Ethernet Interface.  The VHDCR connector interfaces JTAG, USB and 22 SelectIO.

Whereas the rear I/o provides a 4 lane high speed serial interface on the P16 XMC port for customer installed soft cores.

Speed is increased using multiple channels and parallel hardware architectures.  And offload intensive task to the FPGA co-processor.  MicroBlaze Soft processor software increases optimisation.
