WOLF’s Model VPX3U-AD5000E-CX7 is a rugged 3U VPX High Performance Embedded Computing module that includes a NVIDIA RTX™ 5000 ADA embedded GPU, and a NVIDIA ConnectX®-7 Switch.

Built on NVIDIA RTX architecture this GPU provides advanced processing capabilities for high performance embedded computing (HPEC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Processing applications in Aerospace and Defence scenarios.

The WOLF Model VPX3U-AD5000E-CX7 (153L) is a 3U VPX HPEC Module.  In addition, it also features a CX-7 Switch Module.  This switch incorporates 100GbE Ethernet and a PCIe Gen4 Switch and moves data sets quickly.

Firstly, it is based on the NVIDIA RTX™ architecture it includes CUDA Cores for HPEC and Tensor cores for AI and Data science calculations.  In addition, it uses 3rd gen. Ray Tracing (RT) cores providing it superbly accurate visual rendering.  Finally, the advantage of this board is the GPU operates at a higher clock frequency.  Therefore, providing the same power but delivering more performance per watt compared to previous generations.

Secondly, the ConnectX-7 is ideal for high speed, secure, data transfer capabilities.  Heavy duty tasks such as sensor processing and other C5ISR missions.  In addition, it provides support for RDMA over Converged Ethernet.  Therefore, providing the fastest method for transferring data across the network to the GPU.

Thirdly, WOLF realises to unlock the best performance you need the best cooling capability.  That is why WOLF’s advanced cooling technology moves heat using a low weight, highly efficient path from the GPU die to the wedge locks.
