Decommutators Range
LS-50-D
The Lumistar LS-50-D PCI Multi-function PCM Decommutator offers a PCM decom, PCM simulator and time code reader or generator. A bit synchronizer option in a single short PCI card slot is also available. Furthermore, the multi function decom and simulator use FPGA thanks to a next generation design based on the LS-50-P. Additionally, the mainboard is used for the simulator, decommutator, time code reader and time code generator. Alternatively, a low profile daughterboard is used for the bit synchronizer. Finally, software conducts CVSD voice decoding, h.261 video decoding, and IRIG Chapter 8 decoding.
LS-50-E
The Lumistar LS-50-E PCIe Multi function PCM Decommutator has a PCM decom, PCM simulator, time code reader generator and a bit synchronizer option. All of this is located in a single short PCIe card slot. Alternatively, the multi function decom and simulator is usesFPGA and a next generation design based on the LS-50-P. Furthermore, the simulator, decommutator, time code reader and time code generator are found on the main board. The bit synchronizer is found on a low profile daughterboard option. Finally users can use software to conduct CVSD voice decoding, h.261 video decoding, and IRIG and Chapter 8 decoding.
LS-50-cP
The Lumistar LS-50-cP 3U Compact PCI Multi function PCM Decommutator offers the greatest flexibility in the industry by incorporating up to 10 functions typically encountered in flight test applications in a single 3U Compact PCI card slot. The mainboard completes the following four functions:
- PCM Simulator which can also operate as a BERT
- PCM Decommutator,
- IRIG Time Code Reader
- IRIG Time Code Generator
Additionally the LS-55-DB multi function Decom Daughterboard also conducts the same 4 functions. Software conducts CVSD Voice Decoding and h.261 Video Decoding.
LS-55-DD
The Lumistar LS-55-DD PCI Dual Multi function PCM Decommutator offers two multifunction decoms and two bit synchronizers (LS-45) options in a single PCI card slot. FPGA and a next generation design based on the LS-50-P implement the multi function decoms. Alternatively, the main board and bit synchronizer achieves the simulators, decommutators, time code reader and time code generator using a low profile daughterboard. Finally, software conducts the CVSD voice, h.261 video, and IRIG Chapter 8 decoding.
LS-68-M
The Lumistar LS-68-M Modular Multi Channel processing and recording Telemetry Processing System offers an ultra small, low cost, high performance, multi channel COTS solution for PCM data synchronization, decommutation and simulation applications. Building on the legacy of the Lumistar LS-45, LS-50, LS-55 and LS70 series of products, the LS-68-M uses the feature sets of each of these product lines and supplies them in a format with no hardware drivers in an “OS less” environment. The LS-68-M uses a highspeed Gigabit Ethernet interface for primary controls and data streaming.
LS-50-V
The Lumistar LS-50-V VME Multi-function PCM Decommutator offers the greatest flexibility in the industry with up to 10 functions typically encountered in test applications in a single VME card slot. Five functions are accomplished on the main board and additional functions are achieved through the use of low-profile daughter-boards. The main VME board shown below contains a PCM Simulator which can also operate as a BERT, PCM Decommutator, IRIG Time Code Reader, and IRIG Time Code Generator.

LS-55-EE
The Lumistar LS-55-EE PCIe Dual Multi-function PCM Decommutator offers two multifunction decoms and two optional bit synchronizers (LS-45) in a single PCIE card slot. The multi function decoms are used in FPGA using a next generation design based on the LS-50-P. The simulators, decommutators, time code reader and time code generator are completed on the main board and the bit synchronizer is completed through a low profile daughterboard. CVSD voice, h.261 video, and IRIG Chapter 8 decoding is done through software.
