Low Bias Miniature Accelerometer 3205

Series 3205 is a high performance IEPE Reference accelerometer. Which operates at temperatures up to 175° and designed for down hole drill head vibration monitoring and other low turn on voltage applications where supply power is limited.

Applications in which it is used include:

  • Down hole drill head vibration monitoring
  • Low turn on voltage applications where power supply is limited

The Dytran 3205 series is a low bias miniature accelerometer.

Firstly, this model is packaged in a titanium housing with a vertical height of 7.2mm. It is designed to operate from +4.0 to +4.5 VDC compliance voltage.

Secondly, sensors for down hole vibration monitoring must deliver accurate data whilst tolerating harsh conditions. Characteristics include miniature design, high temp operation and ability to operate at low power levels. Series 3205 has sensitivity from between 0.33 to 2 mV/g and has adhesive mounting capabilities. It weighs 2 grams and has an 88.9cm integrable cable assembly for terminating to fly leads.

Other features include:

  • Titanium
  • Operates +4.0 to 4.5 VDC
  • 175° Operation
  • IEPE
