EON Instrumentation’s VMS-712 is a Rugged HD-SDI Matrix Switcher. Firstly, this model has a built-in 720p 60Hz test pattern and can be used on any of the 12 outputs.
Secondly, the VMS-712 supports 270 Mpbs, 1483/1485 Mbps and 2967/2970 Mbps or automatic re-clocking rates. The power input is 28 VDC. The unit can be controlled remotely using an external computer via the RS-232 interface. Also external reset is providing using a discrete interface.
Thirdly, the VMS-712 is qualified to MilSpec EMI, Environmental and Power requirements. EON Instruments work with Kappa Optronics. They provide EON with a range of compact and ruggedised HD CCD colour camera solutions that interface with the Matrix Switcher. Read brochure to find out more.
