Submersible Accelerometer 3217A

Series 3217A is a low profile IEPE accelerometer. It has a sensitivity to 100 mV/g and features a factory moulded urethane boot and urethane cable to allow operation in water depths to 175 psi.

Applications in which it is used include: General Purpose vibration measurements underwater

The Dytran 3217A series is a submersible accelerometer.

Firstly, it has a ceramic shear sensing element for high natural frequency. as well as low noise electronics inside a rugged titanium housing.

Secondly, it is base isolated and hermetically sealed. this allows it to operate in harsh conditions and EMI/ ground loop interference.
