LT1410 Non-Hazardous Hydrostatic Sensor
The LT1410 is a hydrostatic pressure sensor designed for liquid-level measurement in non-aggressive liquids. It can be installed as a submersible sensor or connected externally, depending on the tank and application.
Constructed with a 316 stainless-steel body, diaphragm and polyurethane cable jacket. Firstly, the sensor provides a cost-effective solution for measuring liquid depths. From approximately 1.2 metres to more than 18 metres. Available output options include 0.5–4.5 V, 4–20 mA and RS-485.
Medium compatibility: Diesel, DEF, lubricants, water, liquid feed and compatible non-aggressive liquids.
Typical applications: Fuel tanks, water storage, wastewater systems, agricultural tanks, slurry and liquid-feed storage.
APT300 Hydrostatic Sensor for Corrosive Fuels
The APT300 is a hydrostatic pressure sensor designed for liquid-level measurement in fuels and other aggressive liquids. It can be used in submersible or external installations. In addition, it provides measurement ranges from approximately 1.2 metres to more than 18 metres.
The sensor features a 316 stainless-steel body and diaphragm with a chemically resistant PTFE jacket. Depending on its configuration, output options include 0.5–4.5 V, 4–20 mA and RS-485.
Medium compatibility: Petrol, methanol, DEF, lubricants, water, slurry and other compatible liquids.
Typical applications: Fuel storage, oil and gas operations, wastewater, agricultural tanks and industrial liquid storage.
APT350 Chemical-Resistant Hydrostatic Sensor
The APT350 is designed for hydrostatic level measurement in tanks containing aggressive or corrosive liquids. The sensor is submerged in the stored material and determines liquid level by measuring hydrostatic pressure.
It features a full PTFE body and cable jacket with a ceramic diaphragm for increased chemical resistance. Measurement ranges extend from approximately 1.2 metres to more than 18 metres. Along, with available output options including 0.5–4.5 V, 4–20 mA and RS-485.
Medium compatibility: Corrosive chemicals, aggressive liquids and selected fuels, including petrol, methanol and DEF. Compatibility should be confirmed for the specific chemical and concentration.
Typical applications: Chemical storage tanks, liquid fertiliser, industrial processing, wastewater treatment and aggressive-liquid monitoring.
VEGA VEGAPULS C 21 Wired Radar Sensor
The VEGAPULS C 21 is a non-contact radar sensor for measuring the level of liquids and small bulk solids. Using 80 GHz radar technology, it measures the distance between the sensor and the surface of the stored material without making direct contact with it.
The sensor offers a measuring range of up to 20 metres and supports 4–20 mA/HART, Modbus or SDI-12 outputs, depending on the selected version. It is suitable for water treatment, pumping stations, overflow basins, open-channel flow measurement and industrial tank-level monitoring.
Medium compatibility: Water, wastewater, fuels, lubricants, liquid feed and compatible chemicals.
Typical applications: Storage tanks, pumping stations, water treatment, wastewater infrastructure, open channels and small bulk-solid containers.
Senix ToughSonic Ultrasonic Sensor
The Senix ToughSonic rugged, non-contact ultrasonic sensor measures liquid levels, distances and object positions. First, its piezoelectric transducer sends an ultrasonic signal towards the target. It then measures the returning echo to calculate the distance accurately.
In addition, a robust housing protects the sensor’s electronics during indoor and outdoor operation. Depending on the chosen model and configuration, the sensor also provides analogue or serial communication outputs for connection to compatible monitoring and control equipment.
Medium compatibility: Water, wastewater and compatible non-aggressive liquids. However, users should confirm suitability before measuring fuels, chemicals or other materials.
Typical applications: Water tanks, wastewater systems, distance measurement, object detection and industrial level monitoring.
Rochester Remote-Ready Dials and Hall Effect Sensors
Rochester Remote-Ready Dials show the tank level locally while also sending an electrical output to compatible monitoring equipment. The magnetically driven dial works with a Hall effect module, which produces a voltage signal proportional to the liquid volume inside the tank. As a result, operators can check the level at the tank and monitor it remotely.
Furthermore, Rochester offers options for Junior, Senior, Taylor and Magnetel gauge configurations. These sensors connect to existing Rochester mechanical float gauges on stationary LPG tanks, making them suitable for upgrading compatible installations with remote monitoring.
Medium compatibility: LPG and other applications approved for the selected Rochester gauge and tank configuration.
Typical applications: Stationary LPG tanks, propane storage, bulk-gas distribution and remote inventory monitoring.
Magnetostrictive Continuous Level Float
The continuous level float uses magnetic sensing technology to measure liquid levels along a vertical probe. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float travels along the probe and generates a corresponding electrical output. As a result, operators receive continuous level data across the sensor’s measurement range.
LevelCon offers the sensor in customised lengths to suit tanks of different depths and shapes. Furthermore, because the float serves as the primary moving component, the sensor provides reliable operation across both mobile and stationary installations.
Medium compatibility: Fuels, lubricants, water, wastewater, liquid feed and compatible chemicals. In addition, users can select suitable float and probe materials for the stored liquid.
