Sensors for Remote Monitoring Portfolio
LevelCon wireless sensors provide remote measurement of tank levels, pressure, flow and temperature across industrial and commercial applications. Designed to communicate wirelessly with compatible LevelCon monitoring gateways. Firstly, these sensors help organisations collect operational data from tanks, vessels, pipelines and other assets without installing extensive signal cabling.
Measurement data can be delivered through the LevelCon monitoring platform. Therefore, giving authorised users remote visibility of connected assets and enabling alerts based on defined operating conditions.
The wireless sensor portfolio supports applications across fuel and lubricant distribution, oil and gas, water and wastewater, agriculture, chemical processing and industrial storage. Sensor selection depends on the material being measured, tank or vessel configuration, operating conditions and required measurement range.
Metromatics supplies and supports LevelCon remote monitoring technology throughout Australia and New Zealand.
LevelCon Wireless Sensor Portfolio
Radar R3 Wireless Level Sensor
The Radar R3 is a battery-powered, non-contact radar sensor for remotely monitoring liquid and material levels. Its 60 GHz radar technology provides a measuring range of up to eight metres. In addition, it sends level data wirelessly to a compatible LevelCon gateway.
Secondly, the sensor measures without contacting the stored material. Therefore, it is suitable for tanks containing fuels, lubricants, water, liquid feed and compatible chemicals. Typical applications include fixed tanks, mobile totes, fuel cubes and smaller grease tanks. LevelCon Radar R3
Typical applications: Fuel and lubricant tanks, water storage, liquid feed, chemicals, mobile totes and fuel cubes.
WP01V Wireless Pressure Sensor
The WP01V provides wireless monitoring of external pressure in demanding industrial applications. Designed for measuring tubing, casing, line and ground pressure. In addition, including applications involving oil and gas, hydrogen, LNG and CNG.
Available pressure ranges extend from 15 to 10,000 psi, depending on configuration. The sensor communicates wirelessly with LevelCon monitoring equipment. In addition, it can provide updates at intervals as short as three seconds. Optional configurations are available for cryogenic operating conditions. LevelCon WP01V
Typical applications: Oil and gas pressure, tubing and casing pressure, compressed gases, hydrogen, LNG/CNG systems and industrial process monitoring.
WP01D Wireless Differential Pressure Sensor
The WP01D measures the difference between two pressure points and transmits the resulting data wirelessly to a LevelCon gateway. It can be used to monitor pressurised vessels, cryogenic systems, tubing, casing and process-line pressure.
The sensor can be configured for measurement in psi or inches of water column. Optional cryogenic capability is also available for applications exposed to extremely low temperatures. LevelCon WP01D
Typical applications: Pressurised vessels, hydrogen systems, LNG/CNG storage, cryogenic processes, oil and gas equipment and industrial pressure monitoring.
WP01L Wireless Laser Level Sensor
The WP01L uses non-contact laser measurement to monitor materials that may be difficult to measure using conventional liquid-level sensors. It is suited to thick, sticky or dry materials. Especially, where direct-contact sensing may be impractical.
Typical applications include grease tanks, seed and dry-material bins, liquid fertiliser storage, molasses and other viscous liquid-feed products. The compact sensor is battery powered and communicates wirelessly with the LevelCon monitoring system. LevelCon WP01L
Typical applications: Grease tanks, seed bins, dry-material bins, liquid feed, molasses, fertilisers and viscous chemicals.
WP01Mag Wireless Flow Sensor
The WP01Mag provides wireless flow monitoring when paired with a compatible magnetic-pickup flow meter. It converts the meter’s pulse output into data that can be transmitted to a LevelCon gateway and displayed through the monitoring platform.
The system is configured using the flow meter’s K-factor and adapted to different flow ranges. Typical uses include wellhead monitoring, irrigation systems and the movement of fuels, lubricants, water and compatible chemicals. LevelCon WP01Mag
Typical applications: Wellhead flow, irrigation, fuel transfer, lubricant distribution, water and wastewater, liquid feed and chemical processing.
WP01SN Wireless Submersible Sensor System
The WP01SN combines a LevelCon wireless sensor node with a compatible submersible pressure sensor to provide remote liquid-level monitoring. The submersible sensor is installed in the tank or vessel. Whilst the WP01SN transmits measurement data wirelessly to the LevelCon monitoring equipment.
Sensor configurations are available for applications involving fuels, lubricants, water, diesel, DEF and compatible chemicals. The exact sensor construction and material compatibility depend on the selected submersible probe.
Typical applications: Above-ground and underground tanks, water storage, fuel and lubricant tanks, wastewater systems and chemical storage.
Remote Access to Sensor Data
LevelCon wireless sensors operate as part of a complete remote monitoring system. Sensor readings transmit to a compatible LevelCon gateway. Which sends the information to the LevelCon cloud monitoring platform.
From the platform, authorised users can review current readings, monitor asset conditions and configure notifications based on selected operating thresholds. Information is accessible from an internet-connected computer, tablet or smartphone.
Applications
LevelCon wireless sensors can support remote monitoring across:
