The Dytran Series 1050 is an IEPE Force Sensor.
Firstly, it features built in electronics. This eliminates the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.
Secondly, the design of model features a quartz sensing element. It operates in compression mode and is packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 32 grams. As well as a series of 10-32 axial connector and ¼-28 tapped hole, located at the top of the sensor housing to assist mounting.
