100Mbps SFP Transceiver Modules

Through our partner, Metromatics provide 100Mbps SFP Modules designed for Ethernet network applications that require data transfers speeds of 100Mbps. Typically used in industrial networking equipment such as switches and media converters and allow network connections over fibre optics or copper depending on the network type.

Our 100Mbps SFP Transceiver Modules are used in industrial networking equipment as they are flexible, compact and hot swappable. In addition, they provide a cost-effective solution for extending networks in both short and long-distance applications.

Firstly, there are there three transmission types. The first is Single-Mode Fibre (SMF) for data transmission over distances of up to 20km or more. The second is Multi-Mode Fibre (MMF) ideal for short range communications up to 2km. Finally, Copper (RJ45) for ethernet connections over twisted pair copper cabling up to 100 Metres.
