The Dytran 3003B is a down-hole drill head vibration accelerometer.
Firstly, sensors developed for down-hole vibration monitoring must deliver accurate and reliable data in harsh conditions. Characteristics include miniature design, high temperature operation and ability to operate at low power levels. The Dytran 3003B is ideal. It is packaged in miniature titanium housing. It has a vertical height of just 9.4mm and operates at temperatures up to +175°C. Designed to operates from +4.0 to +5.5 VDC compliance voltage.
Secondly, it is offered with a sensitivity of 2 mV/g and 500g range and has adhesive mounting capabilities. It weighs just 6 grams and units incorporate four permanently attached 55cm lead wires.
