The Dytran Series 1051 is a Dynamic IEPE Force Sensor.
Firstly, it features built in electronics. This eliminates the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.
Secondly, the design of model features a quartz sensing element. It operates in compression mode and is packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 28 grams. As well as using a 10-32 axial connector and ¼-28 tapped hole, located at the top and bottom of the sensor housing to assist mounting.
