The Alta Data M.2 1553 Interface Card (MP2-1553) delivers full-featured 1–2 channel MIL-STD-1553 avionics connectivity in an ultra-compact M.2 2280 form factor. Firstly, it is designed for next-generation embedded mission computers, UAVs, ground vehicles, and flight control systems.  This card provides the performance of a traditional 1553 interface board without the size, weight, and power penalty of legacy platforms.

In addition, it is Leveraging PCI Express® connectivity,  Meaning the MP2-1553 brings dual-redundant MIL-STD-1553 bus capability to space-constrained systems.  Therefore, maintaining high reliability and protocol compliance.
