Multifunction Ethernet I/O Modules NT2510 and NT2530

The NT2510 and NT2530 are part of the Acromag Busworks NT Series. A new cost-effective solution for monitoring and controlling analog and discrete signals in industrial applications.

Model NT2510 provides

4 current inputs – and 2 current outputs and 4 discrete I/O channels (NTE2511)

OR

4 current inputs and 4 discrete I/O channels (NTE2512)

Model NT2530 provides

4 voltage inputs, 2 current outputs and 4 discrete I/O channels (NTE2531)

OR

4 voltage inputs and 4 discrete I/O channels (NTE2532)

The real point of difference with this product is up to three NTX expansion I/O modules can be added to each model – enabling 24 analog and 16 discrete I/O on single IP address.

The Acromag NT2510 and NT2530 Models are Multifunction Ethernet I/O Modules.

Firstly, the difference between the two modules is the Model NT2510 provides 4 current inputs.  Whereas Model NT2530 provides 4 voltage inputs.  Both offer up to 2 current outputs and 4 discrete I/O channels or just the inputs and 4 discrete I/O channels.  Current Analog Outputs are an option.

There are two components to this series.

The NTE Ethernet Models (which the NT2510 and NT2530 are) provide the protocol interface and the I/O signal processing channels for monitoring and control.

The NTX Expansion modules add extra I/O channels when paired to any NTE Ethernet Communication module.

Therefore, the appending NTX expansion model can be added to interface up to 24 analog and 16 discrete I/O channels on single IP address.  It has thin 25mm DIN Rail housing.

Applications include monitoring and control of analog signals representing temperature, pressure, level, and flow.  As well as discrete I/O on motors, lamps, valves, and doors.

Finally an isolated RS-485 links up to three expansion modules to the Ethernet module with connectors that join the DIN rail. This internal NT bus distributes power and communication between the modules. Allow users to mix analog, temperature and discrete I/O modules across the NT bus. Acromag’s i2o messaging technology enables direct peer to peer or multicast communication between remote modules without a master controller.
