Vibration Monitoring Accelerometer 3168F

Designed for Commercial and Defence Aircraft Vibration monitoring, the 3168F model is a ring style IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer which uses high stability quartz shear technology.

Applications for this product include:

  • High frequency aircraft/airframe vibration measurements
  • Transmission Vibration Measurements
  • Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS)
  • Rotor, Track & Balance (RTB)

The Dytran 3168F Model is Vibration Monitoring Airborne Accelerometer.

Firstly, it has sensitivity of 10 mV/g. It feature a miniature thru hole design. The sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of sensor installation.

The stainless steel case is hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments. Plus, the case is isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference. Which is achieved by internally isolating accelerometer element with a Faraday shield from the outer housing.

Secondly, this model uses a 1.22 Metre moulded Viton™ cable. It is terminated in twisted shielded pair flying leads. Other lengths and connectors are available.
