The Acromag QMC350 is a VITA 93 analog input mezzanine module. Designed for demanding data acquisition applications requiring high accuracy, speed, and density. With 20 analog input channels and each equipped with its own simultaneous 16-bit A/D converter. Capable of 1 million samples per second (1MSPS). The QMC350 is ideal for real-time monitoring and high-speed signal processing tasks.
Built on the VITA 93 small form factor (SFF) standard. The QMC350 offers a compact, rugged solution perfect for SWaP-C constrained environments. Such as in defence, aerospace, industrial, and laboratory systems. The module interfaces via PCIe through a carrier card. In addition, it supports deployment across various platforms including VPX, CompactPCI, PCIe expansion cards, and VNX+ systems.
Users can set each channel independently with software-selectable input ranges. They can choose between unipolar or bipolar, single-ended or differential input. There are 12 voltage range options available. Two selectable bandwidths (25kHz or 220kHz), ±21V input clamp protection, and 1MΩ input impedance further enhance flexibility and protection. Onboard software calibration of gain, offset, and phase ensures precise, repeatable measurements.
The QMC350 has support for the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI). This lets the host system read sensor data and module information. It does this over I²C using the onboard EEPROM. This feature helps with better system diagnostics and configuration.
