Wireless Remote Analog 8 Diff Inputs 2 Discrete I/O NTW2230

The Acromag NTW2230 Wireless Remote Analog 8 Diff Inputs 2 Discrete I/O module provides a reliable way to monitor 0–10 V instrumentation signals across PLC and SCADA systems using secure Wi-Fi Ethernet connectivity.

With eight high-accuracy differential voltage input channels and two bidirectional discrete I/O channels, it enables flexible monitoring of pressure, temperature, HVAC levels, and environmental controller signals in distributed control cabinets without installing new network cabling.

The Acromag NTW2230 is a Wireless Remote Analog I/O Module with 8 Diff Inputs 2 Discrete I/O.  Firstly, it enables accurate acquisition of voltage-based instrumentation signals across distributed monitoring environments using industrial Wi-Fi Ethernet connectivity.

Each module provides:

  • eight true differential voltage input channels
  • two bidirectional discrete digital I/O channels
  • selectable voltage measurement ranges up to ±10 V and 0–10 V

making it ideal for monitoring environmental controllers, building automation signals, and industrial instrumentation outputs.

As part of the Acromag BusWorks NT modular remote I/O platform, the NTW2230 supports expansion using NTX modules.  This allows you to scale monitoring systems up to 64 mixed signal I/O channels under a single IP address.  Therefore, simplifying integration across distributed infrastructure monitoring architectures.

The NTW2230 Wireless Remote Analog 8 Diff Inputs 2 Discrete I/O module integrates directly into automation systems using:

  • Modbus TCP/IP
  • EtherNet/IP
  • OPC UA
  • MQTT
  • REST API

These protocols enable seamless connectivity with PLC controllers, SCADA monitoring platforms, and cloud-based IIoT monitoring environments.

Expandable BusWorks NT Remote I/O Architecture

The NTW2230 operates as a wireless interface module within the Acromag BusWorks NT modular remote I/O system.

A BusWorks NT node consists of either:

combined with optional NTX expansion modules connected via the internal NT bus along the DIN rail.

This architecture enables monitoring systems to scale up to 64 mixed analog, digital, and temperature I/O channels under one IP address, simplifying distributed instrumentation deployments.

Equivalent wired Ethernet connectivity is available using BusWorks NTE interface modules where wireless deployment is not preferred.  The wired compatible product for this version is the NTE2230.
